EMI Marketing is responsible for marketing and exploitation of EMI and Virgin's global catalogue repertoire. It encompasses TV marketed compilations, catalogue re-issues, seasonal campaigns, price driven campaigns, genre or specific product campaigns plus the marketing of our budget, jazz, classics and import product.
Largely considered as the profit and volume division of the company, EMI Marketing can be termed as the 'commercial' marketing arm of the company utilising our core catalogue to create new business. EMI Marketing also handles front line product releases from the Blue Note label such as Norah Jones and Van Morrison and is responsible for marketing EMI's key catalogue acts such as The Beatles, Pink Floyd & The Beach Boys.
